This has to be one of the most amazing channellings I have read in a long time. I visited Pamela's web site for more and could not stop reading the wonderful material there. It so represents my understanding of who I am and why I am here, why not visit and see for yourself. This channelling came through a number of emails and looks like it will do the rounds this month. Jesus/Yeshua: The New Earth

In this day and age, a transition is taking place on earth. A new consciousness is dawning which will take material shape sooner or later. How exactly this transition will come about, what form it will take, is not fixed. The future is always indeterminate. The only thing that is really given is this moment: the Now. From the well of the Now, countless possible roads are springing, an infinite web of possible futures.

On the basis of the past, we can predict that one particular future is more probable than another, but the choice is always yours. It is you who decide whether you let the past determine your future! Predictions are always based on probabilities. Probabilities are related to the past. It is in your power as a human being to break with the past, to set out a different course. You are endowed with free will. You have the power to change, to recreate yourself. In this power rests your divinity. It is the power to create from nothing (to create ex nihilo). This divine power belongs to the very essence of who you are.

In speaking of this day and age as an age of transition, never forget that you are the master of your own reality. There is no such thing as a predestined Plan or a Cosmic Power which overrules your individual soul's path or your individual power to create your own reality. It doesn't work that way. Every soul on earth will experience this transition in a way that fits their inner propensities. There are many realities. The reality you choose will answer your inner needs and desires.

What makes this time (1950 - 2070 approximately) special is that there are two different cycles of consciousness coming to an end: a personal cycle (or a set of personal cycles) and a planetary cycle. The completion of these cycles coincides, so that one reinforces the other.

For a part of humanity, the completion of their personal cycle of earth lives is near. Most of the souls involved in this completion are lightworkers. We will speak in much more detail about this group of lightworker souls. Here we would like to explain the nature of this personal cycle: what it means to go through it and what is the purpose of living all these quite complicated lives on earth.

The personal karmic cycle

The earth lives you experience are part of a greater cycle of your soul. This cycle was designed to enable you to fully experience duality. You have within this cycle experienced what it is like to be male and female, to be healthy and ill, to be rich or poor, to be "good" and "bad." In some lives you were intensely involved with the material world, being a farmer, worker or craftsman. There have been more spiritually oriented lives, in which you carried within you a strong awareness of your spiritual origins. In those lives you were often drawn to religious callings. Also there have been lives in which you explored the worldly domain of power, politics etc. There may have been lives devoted to an artistic expression of yourself.

Often souls tend to specialize somewhat in the course of all these lives. This can clearly be recognized in people who possess a natural gift in a certain area. It seems they have a potential there, even as a child, which only needs to be awakened at the right time and which is then easily developed.

Lightworker souls are often drawn to religious lives and have lived numerous lives as monks, nuns, priests, shamans, witches, psychics etc. They were drawn to be intermediaries between the material, physical world and the spiritual realms. And so they developed an expertise in this field. When you feel this calling, this strong urge to be involved with spirituality, even if it does not fit in with your normal daily life, you may very well be part of this family of lightworkers.

Living on earth provides you with an opportunity to fully experience what it is like to be a human. Now you may ask: what's so special about being human? Why would I want to experience that?

The human experience is both diverse and intense. When you live a human life, you are temporarily immersed within an overwhelming field of physical sensations, thoughts and feelings. Because of the duality inherent in this field, there is great contrast and intensity in your experiences, much greater than when you are in the astral planes, as you call it. (These are the planes you enter after you die and where you remain between lives.) It may be hard to imagine for you, but many entities on our side would love to be in your shoes. They would love to be human, to gain human experience. The human experience has a kind of realness to it which is invaluable to them. Although they can create countless realities by the power of their imagination, it gives them less satisfaction than the creation of one "real" reality on earth.

On earth, the creation process is often a struggle. You typically meet a lot of resistance in making your dreams come true. The mental type of creation in the astral world is much easier. There is no time lag between the thought of something and the actual creation of it. Moreover you can create any reality you want or can think of. There are no limits. The moment you picture a lovely garden, it is there for you to enter.

To give birth to an idea on earth, to make it a reality in the material world, is a great endeavor. It demands a strong intention, perseverance, clarity of mind and a trusting heart. On earth, you have to deal with the slowness and stubbornness of the material world. You have to deal with contradictory impulses in yourself: with doubt, despair, lack of knowledge, loss of faith, etc. The creation process may be obstructed or even fail because of any of these elements. Yet these potential problems, even the failures, are the very reasons that make the experience of earthly life so valuable. In this process, the challenges you meet are your greatest teachers. They give earth experience a profundity that is so much deeper and broader than the effortless creation process on the astral planes. This effortlessness breeds meaninglessness. The astral entities which have not yet experienced lives on earth know and understand this.

You often get discouraged and even desperate by the non-compliant nature of your reality. So often, reality does not answer your wishes and hopes. So often, your creative intentions seem to end up in pain and disillusion. However you will find that key to peace and happiness at some point. You will find that key within your own heart. And when you do, the joy that will befall you will not be matched by anything created in the astral planes. It will be the birth of your mastership, your divinity.

The ecstasy you will experience when your divinity awakens will provide you with the power to heal yourself. This divine love will help you recover from the deep hurts you have suffered throughout your lives on earth.

After that, you will be able to help cure others who have been through the same trials and sorrows. You will recognize their pain. You will see it in their eyes. And you will be able to guide them on their path to divinity.

The purpose of going through duality

Please do not underestimate the meaning of your lives on earth. You belong to the most creative, advanced and courageous part of God (All-That-Is). You are explorers of the unknown and creators of the new. Your explorations through the realm of duality have served a purpose far beyond your imagination. It is hard to explain to you the deepest meaning of your travels, but we can say that you have created a new type of consciousness, one that did not exist previously.

This consciousness was first displayed by Christ when he walked the earth. This consciousness, which I call the Christ consciousness, results from a spiritual alchemy. Physical alchemy is the art of transforming lead into gold. Spiritual alchemy is the art of transforming dark energy into "the third energy," the spiritual gold present in the Christ energy.

Please note that we do not say that the purpose is to transform dark into light, or evil into good. Dark and light, evil and good are natural opposites; they exist by the grace of one another.

True spiritual alchemy introduces a "third energy," a type of consciousness which embraces both polarities through the energies of love and understanding. The true purpose of your journey is not to have Light conquer Dark, but to go beyond these opposites and to create a new type of consciousness which can maintain unity in the presence of both light and dark.

We will explain this rather difficult point by means of a metaphor. Imagine you are deep-sea divers in search of a pearl. Time and again you dive into the ocean to find this particular pearl which everyone talks about but nobody has actually seen. Rumors go that even God, the Chief Diver, has never touched the pearl.

Diving into the ocean is full of perils, since you can get lost or go too deep to catch your breath in time. Still you persist and you dive into this ocean time and again, for you are determined and inspired. Are you insane?

No, you are explorers of the new.

The secret is: in the process of finding the pearl, you are creating it. The pearl is the spiritual gold of the Christ consciousness. The pearl is you, transformed by the experience of duality.

What we have here is a true paradox: in exploring the New, you are creating it. You have become the pearl of God's creation.

God had no other way of doing it, for what you were attempting to find did not exist yet; it had to be created by you. Why was God so interested in creating something new? Let us state this in as simply a way possible.

First, God was entirely GOOD. There was goodness everywhere and all around. In fact because there was nothing else, things were kind of static. His creation lacked aliveness; it lacked the possibility of growth and expansion. You might say it was stuck.

To create change, to create an opportunity for movement and expansion, God had to introduce an Element in his creation that was different from the Goodness that pervaded everything. This was very hard for God, for how can you create something that is not-you? How can Goodness create Badness? It can't. So, God had to come up with a trick, so to speak. This trick is called ignorance.

Ignorance is the element that opposes Goodness. It creates the illusion of being outside Goodness, of being separated from God. "Not knowing who you are" is the incentive behind change, growth and expansion in your universe. Ignorance breeds fear, fear breeds the need to control, the need to control breeds the struggle for power and there you have all the conditions for "Evil" to flourish. The stage has been set for the battle between Good and Bad.

God needed the dynamics of opposites to get his creation "un-stuck." It may be very hard for you to comprehend in view of all the suffering caused by ignorance and fear, but God put great value on these energies, since they provided him with a way to go beyond Him/Herself.

God asked you, the ones that belong to the most creative, advanced and courageous part of herself, to take the veil of Ignorance. In order to experience the dynamics of opposites as thoroughly as possible, you were temporarily soaked in forgetfulness about your true nature. You consented to take this plunge into ignorance, but this fact was overlaid by the veil of forgetfulness as well. So now you often curse God for being in the situation you're in: the hardships, the ignorance - and we understand. In essence though: you are God, God is you.

Despite of all the troubles and sorrows, deep down within you there is still a sense of wonder and excitement about living in duality, about experiencing and creating the New. This is God's original excitement, the reason God started with his journey through You in the first place.

When you started out on your journey, you faced Evil (fear, ignorance) with only a vague memory of the Good (Home) in your mind. You started to battle fear and ignorance, while longing for Home. However you will not return Home in the sense of returning to a state in your past. For creation has changed because of your journey.

The end of your journey will be that you have become larger than good and evil, light and dark. You will have created a third energy, the Christ energy, which embraces and transcends both. You will have expanded God's creation. You will be the New Creation of God. God will have gone beyond Him/Herself when the Christ consciousness is fully born on earth.

The Christ consciousness did not exist before the "human experience." The Christ consciousness is the consciousness of one who has gone through the multilayered experience of duality, has come to terms with it and emerges "on the other side." He will be the inhabitant of the New Earth. This one will have let go of duality. She will have recognized and embraced her own divinity. He will have become one with his divine Self. But his divine Self will be different than before. It will be deeper and richer than the consciousness from which it was born. Or one could say: God will have enriched Him/Herself by having gone through the experience of duality.

This story is simplified and distorted as anything we say is distorted by the illusions of time and separation. These illusions have served a valuable purpose. But the time has come to go beyond them. Please try to feel the energy behind our words, stories and metaphors. This energy is in a sense your own. It is the energy of your future Christed selves that is speaking through me, Jeshua. We are waiting for you to join us.

How to overcome duality - the completion of the karmic cycle

Your earthly cycle of lives ends when the game of duality no longer has a hold on you. It is essential to the dualistic game that you identify yourself with a particular position in the playfield of polarities. You identify yourself with being poor or rich, famous or humble, man or woman, hero or villain. It really doesn't matter that much which part you are playing. As long as you feel one with the actor on the stage, duality still has a firm grip on you.

This is not wrong of course. In a sense it was meant to be that way. You were meant to forget about your true self. To experience all the aspects of duality, you were meant to narrow your consciousness down to a particular role in the drama of earth life.

And you played it well. You got so caught up with your roles that you totally forgot about the aim and purpose of going through this cycle of lives to begin with. You were so forgetful about yourself that you took the games and dramas of duality to be the only reality there is. In the end this made you very lonely and full of fear, which is not surprising since the very game of duality, as noted in the previous section, is based on the elements of ignorance and fear.

To understand the workings of duality in your everyday life, we would like to mention a few typical hallmarks of the duality game.

Characteristics of the duality game

1) Your emotional life is essentially unstable.

There is no emotional anchor present, since you are always in the "up" or "down" side of a particular mood. You are angry or forgiving, narrow-minded or generous, depressed or enthusiastic, happy or sad. Your emotions perpetually fluctuate between extremes. You seem to have only limited control over these fluctuations.

2) You are intensely involved with the outer world.

It is very important to you how other people judge you. Your self-esteem depends on what the outer world (society or your loved ones) mirrors back to you about who you are. You are trying to live up to their standards of right and wrong. You are doing your very best.

3) You have strong opinions about what's good and what's bad. Being judgmental gives you a sense of security. Life is so well organized when one divides actions, thoughts or people into right and wrong.

Common to all these characteristics is that in all you do or feel, you are not really there. Your consciousness resides in the outer layers of your being where it is driven by fear-oriented patterns of thought and behavior.

Let us give an example. If you're used to being nice and agreeable all the time, you are displaying a pattern of behavior that does not spring from your inner being. You are in fact suppressing signals from the inner part of you. You are trying to live up to someone else's expectations in order not to lose their love, admiration or care. You are reacting from fear. You are limiting yourself in your expression. The part of you that is not expressed will however live a hidden life of its own, creating dissatisfaction and tiredness in your being. There may be anger and irritation present in you which no one is aware of, not even you!

The way out of this state of self-denial is to make contact with the suppressed and hidden parts within you.

Making contact with the suppressed and hidden parts within you is not difficult in the sense that it requires particular skills or knowledge to do so. Don't make "going within" a difficult process that others have to teach you or do for you. You can do it yourself and you will find your own ways of doing it. Motive and intent are far more important than skills and methods. If you really intend to know yourself, if you are determined to go deep within and change the fearful thoughts and emotions that block your way to a happy and fulfilled life, you will do it through any method that comes along.

Having said that, we'd like to offer one simple meditation which may help you get in touch with your emotions.

Take a moment to relax the muscles in your shoulders and neck, sit straight up and put your feet flat on the floor. Take a deep breath.

Picture yourself walking on a country road under a wide open blue sky. You take in the sounds of nature and you feel the wind through your hair. You are free and happy. Further down the road, you suddenly see some children running toward you. They are getting closer to you. How does your heart respond to this sight?

Then the children are in front of you. How many are they? How do they look? Are they boys, girls or both?

You say hello to all of them. Tell them how happy you are to see them. Then you make contact with one child in particular who is looking you in the eye. She or he has a message for you. It is written in the child's eyes. Can you read it? What does it want to tell you? It is bringing you an energy that you need right now. Name the energy that this inner child has come to bring you and don't judge it. Simply thank her or him and then release the image.

Feel the earth firmly under your feet again and breathe deeply for a while. You have just contacted a hidden part of yourself.

You can go back to this scene anytime you want and perhaps talk to the other children there as well.

By going within and making contact with the hidden, suppressed parts of yourself, you are becoming more present. Your consciousness is rising above the fear-motivated patterns of thought and behavior that you have taken for granted for such a long time. It is taking responsibility for itself. It takes care of the sorrow, anger and hurt inside, like a parent takes care of its children. We will describe this process in much more detail elsewhere. (See Lightworker III).

Characteristics of releasing duality

1) You listen to the language of your soul which speaks to you through your feelings.

2) You act upon this language and create the changes your soul wishes you to make.

3) You value quiet time alone, for only in silence can you hear the whispers of your soul.

4) You question the authority of thought patterns or rules of behavior which block the free expression of your true inspiration and aspirations.

The turning point in letting go of duality

Your earthly cycle of lives draws to a close when your consciousness is able to hold all the experiences of duality in its hand, while remaining centered and fully present. As long as you identify with one aspect of duality rather than another (with light as opposed to dark, with rich as opposed to poor etc.), your consciousness is on a swing. Karma is nothing but the natural harmonizer for the swings in which your consciousness engages. You release your ties to the karmic cycle when your consciousness finds its anchor point in the motionless center of the seesaw.

This center is the exit point for the karmic cycle. The predominant feeling tones in this center are stillness, compassion and quiet joy. Greek philosophers had premonitions of this state which they called ataraxia: imperturbability.

Judgment and fear are the energies that most take you off-center. As you release these energies more and more, you become more quiet and open inside. You truly enter another world, another plane of consciousness.

This will be manifested in your outer world. It will often be a time of change and saying goodbye to aspects in your life that do not reflect YOU anymore. Great upheavals may occur in the area of relationships and work. More often that not, your whole lifestyle turns topsy-turvy. This is only natural, from our perspective, since inner changes are always the forerunner of changes in your outer world. Your consciousness creates the material reality you dwell in. It is always that way.

Releasing the grip of duality takes time. Unraveling all the layers of darkness (un-consciousness) is a gradual process. Yet once you embark upon this road, the road to the inner Self, you are slowly distancing yourself from the game of duality. When you have tasted the true meaning of ataraxia, the turning point is taken. When you have felt the silent yet all-pervading joy of simply being with yourself, you will know that that is what you've been looking for all along. You will go inward time and again to experience this peace inside.

You will not shy away from worldly enjoyment. But you will have found an anchor of divinity within yourself, and you will experience the world and all its beauty from that state of bliss. Bliss never resided in material things to begin with. It resides in the way you experience them. When there is peace and joy in your heart, the things and people you meet will give you peace and joy.

In this day and age, a certain group of souls is preparing itself to step off the karmic cycle. We will speak in depth about this group in the next chapters. However it is not just a group of human souls that is now reaching the end of a transformative personal cycle. The very earth on which you live is undergoing a deep and thoroughgoing transformation. A planetary cycle is coming to an end as well. This era is so special because of these two cycles coinciding. We will now speak about the planetary cycle.

The planetary cycle

Everything that is evolves in cycles, planets as well as humans. It is not exceptional for an individual or groups of individual souls to step off the karmic cycle at some point in time. What makes this era special however is that the earth herself is completing a major karmic cycle. The earth is involved in an inner transformation which will result in a new type of consciousness in her being as a planet. At whatever point individual souls are within their own cycle, the earth's transformation process will affect them.

The earth is your house. Compare it to the house you live in. Imagine that it is being rebuilt. This will greatly affect your daily life. Depending on your state of mind, you will experience it as a welcome change or a disrupting and upsetting event. If you were planning and looking forward to rebuilding your house anyway, you are in sync with the changes and you can go with the flow. The earth's transformation process will support and enhance your personal transformation process.

If you did not want to have your house rebuilt at all, you will feel frustrated by the chaos surrounding you. The inner earth changes will throw you off balance.

For the ones who are welcoming the inner changes of your planet earth, these will be extremely empowering times. You will be lifted by the wave of Light that is presently flooding your universe.

At present, the earth is almost cracking beneath the karmic burden of humanity. The negativity and violence which spring from this karmic burden form a kind of energetic waste that the earth is hardly able to process, to neutralize or integrate.

Focus your consciousness for a moment on the heart of the earth. Relax and focus. can you feel something there? Can you feel how the earth is being torn apart, how there is so much violence upon her?

The earth is feeling powerlessness and resistance at the same time. She is on the verge of creating a new foundation for her being. The earth is going to release the energies of struggle, competition and drama, on inner and outer levels. The new foundation that is dawning within her is the energy of the heart, the energy of balance and connectedness: the living Christ energy.

The earth, just like humanity, is involved in a learning experience. Just like humanity, her consciousness is evolving and transforming itself. As with humanity, her journey started from a certain type of ignorance or unconsciousness about her own being.

The earth once was a "dark planet" which absorbed or swallowed the energies surrounding her. She took in energies or beings that she encountered and she assimilated them completely; she took away their uniqueness and in a sense killed them. This sprang from a desire for expansion. The earth somehow sensed a lack or inadequacy within her which she interpreted as a need to conquer and assimilate other energies. Since the earth did not give anything back to these energies, there was not really an interaction between them. It was a deadly and deathlike process.

At a certain time, the earth became aware that this process did not satisfy her. She felt something lacking in this way of feeding herself. Her sense of inadequacy was not relieved by it. Her urge towards expansion was not satisfied by making energy dead.

At this moment within earth consciousness the desire was born for liveliness, for Life. Not that the earth was fully aware of it. She just knew she wanted something else, something new, a kind of interaction with other energies which would not end in the reduction of those energies to earth energy. Within earth consciousness a space was created for the experience of something different than herself.

Energetically this meant the beginning of life on earth.

It is a cosmic law that all deeply felt desires will ultimately create the means for their realization. Desires, which are essentially a mixture of thought and feeling, are creative energies. This holds for planets as well as for people. Within earth as a planet a longing had arisen, a longing to experience life, a longing to preserve and cherish life, instead of destroying it.

And so it happened.

When life came to earth, the earth herself started to bloom and blossom. She entered a new domain of experience which filled her with a sense of surprise and satisfaction. She was surprised that such a simple longing, such a vaguely felt need, would bring about such grand and novel developments.

On earth, a grand experiment of life forms unfolded. Many life forms were drawn to manifest themselves on earth and to experiment with the energies present. The earth became a breeding place for novelty. There was freedom to explore new roads, new possibilities. There was and still is free will for all creatures.

With the creation of life, the earth and all living creatures upon it started to pursue a certain line of inner development. This path of experience had as its central theme the balance between giving and taking.

At the inner level of consciousness, the earth has been striving for eons to find the right balance between giving and taking. As a planet, earth gives and takes life. In earth's "dark period," the stage in which she absorbed and liquidated energies, the accent strongly was on "taking."

At present she has wound up at the other extreme: giving to the limit of what she can give.

The earth has long tolerated violence and exploitation by humanity, for this was karmically fitting in a sense. The earth had to explore the other side of power and oppression. Her actions as an offender incited the opposite experience of being a victim, like a boomerang. That is how karma works; it's not a matter of punishment. To really understand and come to terms with the issue of power, you have to experience both sides to it. Anything you struggle with or want to assert power over, you will meet again as victim or offender, until you recognize that you are both ONE, both part of the one divine energy.

The ruthless exploitation of earth in current times, then, is to some extent karmically adequate, since it has provided the earth with an opportunity to come to a full understanding of the balance between giving and taking.

However the limits to which disrespect and exploitation are karmically adequate are within sight. The earth has reached its understanding of the balance and is completing her karmic cycle of consciousness. She has attained a level of love and awareness now that will not tolerate human abuse for much longer. This level of consciousness will cause her to attract like-minded energies which savor harmony and respect, and to repel energies with destructive intent.

The time has come for a new balance between giving and taking. On the New Earth, there will be peace and harmony between planet earth and all that lives upon her: human, plant and animal. The harmony and heartfelt connectedness between all beings will be a source of great joy and creativity.

The transition from old earth to new earth is a process that is not fixed in time and character. Much depends upon the choices made by humanity, the choices made by all of you as individuals right now.

A lot of predictions have been and are being made about this time of transition. Making such predictions is always a dubious affair. The point is: your visible material reality is a manifestation of inner, collective states of consciousness. Consciousness is, as we put it at the start, free and creative. At any time, you can decide to change your future by thinking and feeling differently. You have power over your thoughts and feelings. At any time, you can say no to limiting, destructive thoughts or feelings. This counts for you as an individual but it also goes for larger groups of people.

When a substantial group of individuals chooses freedom and love over self-hate and destruction, then this will manifest itself in material reality. The earth will react to it. She is sensitive to what takes place inside of people. She responds to your inner movements.

By this we would like point out that no one, not even on our side, is able to make accurate predictions as to the way in which the New Earth will be birthed. It is clear however that the group of souls now completing their karmic cycle is closely connected energetically to the New Earth. These people, who often feel deeply connected to the ideals embodied in the New Earth, will have beautiful opportunities to grow and release because of the planetary and personal cycle coinciding.

In the following chapters, I will speak about this group of souls in particular. They are often called lightworkers and I will use that name also. Their reason for incarnating during this age of transition is not coincidental. They are deeply connected with the history of earth. I will describe the psychological traits that most lightworkers possess. I will speak about their history, their galactic roots and their mission on earth. I will discuss in detail the stages of inner growth that are involved in releasing oneself from the karmic cycle.

October brought in some very new connections for some, and although things began to pick up a bit, the temperature was still not right for jumping in. It was hoped that the time would be ripe, as many of our ducks were now in a row, but as with much of everything, with personal choice involved, things can only progress according to where they are.

In many areas on the planet now, it suddenly becomes cold and nature pulls back thinking it is time. Then all of the sudden it is warm once again, and nature wants to bloom! Very confusing indeed. And this is how it is with the energies. It can be difficult to know what will come next, as any normal patterns have seemingly changed.

In this way, at higher levels we are being asked to wait a bit longer, to pull back, to stay out of the mainstream, and to sit tight until the masses are indeed ready for our services and assists. The natural inclination of the masses is to want things to be "fixed," to want some stability, and at times to want to go back to the familiar and to restore as much as possible. But this cannot be.

So until enough are ready to let go and embrace something very new, to become aware of their brothers and sisters that surround them, and to support each other as a team, another big and substantial shake-up will indeed occur.

Going into the masses now, before the time is right, will result in some fairly unpleasant scenarios. Much of the time we will feel invisible, invalidated, not heard, diminished, dis-respected, and basically as if we do not even exist. Lower vibrating energies cannot "see" higher vibrating energies, similar to angels existing in the non-physical plane, and this is what will indeed occur when we attempt to jump back into old energy. It will be enough to make one want to flee and never return.

So then, we can know that our needs will be met while we "wait." It can be a good time to enjoy ourselves and do fun things and simply laugh and play, as always.

The re-connecting process has been a long one. Many are having strange dreams and unusual visitations in their sleep. Hearing sounds, feeling a presence, and so forth are symptoms that another dimension is indeed now merging with us.

Coughing spells, intestinal distress, heart palpitations, and insomnia are also signs of preparation for the new as we release more of the older and denser energies within us. One interesting symptom of ascension is the inability to spell things correctly or write an appropriate sentence. It can be common to superimpose letters as well. As one with a history of perfect spelling and grammar, this has been an interesting experience for me, and has grown increasingly worse. I choose to believe that the message is what is truly important and have really let go of the perfection of it all, so I don’t bother with an editor as well. It simply does not matter anymore and is a place I can no longer go.

This ties in as well with that old familiar memory loss when trying to have a conversation. We are moving into states where energy is all there is. Little details do not matter at this stage. It is the feeling and the energy of anything that is all that is left.

How in the world do we survive when our brains no longer function? We just do. There is a higher part of us, or our souls, who navigate through it all. We are simply losing much of our old 3D selves.

By trusting that our process is being divinely guided, and thus, allowing ourselves to leave the old behind and move forward into a very new space, will always place us in alignment with where we need to be.

If we can know that what is occurring on the outside has nothing to do with us, separate from the process of the fall as much as possible, and stay in our personal sanctuaries, then we can rest assured that our connection to something new and more aligned with Source and our true authentic selves will be ensured.

The cure for despair

During dinner the other night, one of the people in our group looked at me and asked the question I didn't want to hear -- "How did you become homeless?"

By now most people have heard my story of being on the streets of Dallas in the late 1970s and struggling in poverty in Houston for many years after that.

But I had never explained exactly *how* I ended up in such dire circumstances. When I answered the question at dinner, everyone at the table stared at me. The woman who asked the question sat there with her mouth open and eyes un-blinking.

She asked, "Why have you never said this?"

Mark Ryan was sitting there, also staring, and said, "As long as I've known you,

you've never told this story before. It's riveting. This changes everything."

Changes everything?

Riveting?

They all said I had to tell the story now.

"Given the current financial crisis and with people losing their homes and their jobs, this story needs to be told more than ever before," Mark said.

I heard them and realized I agreed.

So here's the story:-

I knew I wanted to be an author when I was a teenager. I wanted to write books and plays that made people happy. Everywhere I looked I saw un-happy people. I believed I could help them with humor and stories.

During that time of the mid-1970s, I watched sports. I don't today but back then the Dallas Cowboys were the rage. Roger Staubach and Tom Landry were heroes. I got caught up in the excitement and felt the place for me to make my name was in Dallas, Texas.

I lived in Ohio at the time. Born and raised there. I worked on the railroad as a trackman, doing heavy labor all day long, working weekends and summers. I saved my money, packed up my bag, and took a bus to Dallas. It took three days to get there.

I was lost in the big city, of course. Being born in a small town in Ohio didn't prep me for the hustle and bustle of a city the size of Dallas.

Before long, I wanted out.

But I still wanted to be an author.

Well, major companies were building oil and gas pipelines in Alaska and the Middle East, and offering to pay big bucks if you were willing to go to either place.

I wasn't keen on going to a foreign country and doing more labor, but I saw a chance to make money, save it, and then go on a sabbatical where I could write for a few months or even a year.

It seemed like a brilliant strategy.

I answered one of the newspaper ads that promised to get me pipeline work at a extraordinary hourly wage. I went in their office, met an upbeat sales person, and ended up giving him all of my money -- my entire savings -- about a thousand dollars at the time -- based on his promise that I'd have overseas pipeline work in a week or two.

You might guess part of what happened next - but you won't guess all of it.

Within a week or so, the company that took all of my money went out of business.

Their doors were closed, no one answered the phone, and no forwarding addresses could be found.

Shortly after that, the company went bankrupt.

And not long after that, the owner of the company committed suicide.

There was no one left to try to get my money back.

I was alone.

I was broke.

I was in Dallas.

I confess that my ego got in the way here. My family back in Ohio would have taken me back in and welcomed me back home. But I was head strong and determined to somehow survive.

Well, I did survive -- by sleeping in church pews, on the steps of a post office, in a bus station.

It wasn't an easy time, as you can imagine, and I never used to talk about it. It was too embarrassing.

When I told this story at dinner, everyone agreed I had to share it with you.

They said that people are finding themselves in the same situation -- they trusted a government, or a corporation, or a person, and now they are losing their homes and their jobs.

Hearing that I went through the same thing three decades ago and not only survived but prospered to a level that the Joe Vitale of thirty years ago could hardly imagine, ought to be inspiring to you, too.

I got off the streets and out of poverty by constantly working on myself -- reading self-help books, taking action, scrambling at times by taking whatever work I could find, but always always always focusing on my vision: to one day be an author of books that helped people be happy and stay inspired.

If you're in a place right now that doesn't feel so good, I urge you to remind yourself that this is only temporary.

This is the cure for despair.

As I say in my book, The Attractor Factor, this is simply current reality, and current reality can change.

You can help it along by doing what you know and need to do.

But remember, the sun will shine again.

It always does.

Your job right now is to focus on what you want and keep it in sight. Yes, keep taking action; yes, stay positive and surround yourself with positive people; yes, be of support to others.

But remember, if I or anyone else can survive homelessness, poverty, job loss, or any other hard time, then *you* can survive it, too.

Please hang in there.

One last thing:

I admit that there were times I wanted to throw in the towel and get myself out of this life. Thank God I stuck around. Had I left early, I would have missed a life of magic and wonder, success and fame I never dreamed of before, priceless relationships and experiences, and more.

I have no idea what wonderful good is headed your way -- and neither do you.

What you have to do is stay the course and follow your heart.

And remember – Expect Miracles.

Power to the People - The Re-Wire of Global Economies

This re-minder came through during October and although it has some negative elements which, like Steve, I try to steer away from, the overall message is very positive. It’s time for us to start co-creating the kind of world we would like to live in, and this message from The Group gives us some ideas on which to build. As ever it is for us to choose, and for me there has never been a better time to start.

Re-minders from Home

I knew a week or so ahead of time that this message was coming. I really resisted it as I have a strong aversion to putting out a negative message like the one you are about to read. I have a tendency to shut out fear based messages of any kind in my own life. I personally believe that we as humans have been played the "fear card" way too many times. It turns out that Fear is good business. Give people a really good scare and they will do anything. This becomes evident when you can’t remember the password to your password program. I would like to think that we are catching on here, but humanity has surprised me before like when a majority in the US bought into fear and re-elected a president who promoted that fear.

Sorry, we won’t get into politics here, and the group did not tell us who to vote for. They did however give some very great examples how to vote and what to find in your own heart. They gave us the sad data that thus far 97% of our leaders on this planet have been elected out of fear. They also gave us the prediction that the economy in the US is about to fall. (This message was presented live on the VirtualLight Broadcast on September 27th 2008 before the bottom fell out of the global markets.) It is a fall that will be felt all over the world. They mentioned 6 to 8 years and even likened it to the Fall of Rome. They said the air needs to completely come out of the balloon and then it can rebuild on solid ground.

They thought it humorous that the president was going to write a check and solve the problem. Even as they spoke this fear based message they quickly reminded us that we can change this course at any time and they gave us some ways to do so.

The group brought up one of their core issues. The Universal Energy has a motion of pulling things back together. They said that actions that oppose this motion and separate will find more resistance while actions that are in harmony with the unifying principle will be supported. The time of separation is over. They were talking about actions of organizations, corporations and governments. Actions that reflect this unifying principle in business and governments will determine how well these businesses and governments adapt to the higher vibrations of the new planet earth. In plain words they suggested that we elect people who will stop segregating and restricting the flow of energy.

The group also gave us a new model for elected officials. They said it would be like the days of Lemuria when we did not have laws but instead had customs. These leaders were elected to serve the people and take care of the infrastructure, take out the trash, pave the roads etc. The truth is that for us to change the direction our economy is heading it will be necessary for us to take back our own power instead of giving it to a leader who want to protect us from our own fears. With this power comes a level of responsibility that few have chosen to take thus far. After all, it is easier to give our power to the leaders than to take responsibility for ourselves. Yet, those who take their power will open many doors for the others as that is the way of the empowered human and this will lead us into the Age of E.

I know in my heart this message of hope will be one of the most important messages from the group in the 21st century.

Power to the People - The Re-wire of Global Economies

You have travelled such a great distance with so many incarnations as souls, and playing a number of games throughout the universe. Some of you think you are old souls, but actually you are all exactly the same age. The reality is that many of you are new to Earth. Some of you have been here many times before, but others have started the Human cycle recently to be in place for the great shift. We wish to speak of this shift today. There is an evolution in progress of which you are well aware. All of humanity is raising vibration at an astounding rate never even dreamed of in the creation of humankind. You are changing the game every second of every day. There is no grand plan, for you are creating the path beneath your feet just before your feet hit the ground. It is becoming both exciting and scary for all of you. You have also chosen to move to another level and to start again.

You are going to re-set the energy and create the new Earth here in this space. It is what we call creating Heaven on Earth. In order to create Heaven on Earth you must understand some of Heaven’s attributes a little better, for humans do not fully understand what is real and what is not. Humans have always had a problem with reality. You keep thinking reality is real, but it is not. The truth of the matter is that with your every thought and breath, you are creating a new, refreshing creation that is coming through your being bringing light and energy from Home.

The Fall of Rome Over Six to Eight Years

Much of your evolution on this planet has been based on separation, and that is what we wish to speak of this day. There are big changes coming to planet Earth and you are seeing the very beginning of them now. These changes are beginning in the United States, but they are not limited to the United States. You are seeing the air escaping out of a huge balloon. Currently it looks as if all the air is going to come out of that balloon. We have mentioned this before, but just briefly. The Fall of Rome is at hand again. We will tell you that over the next six to eight years, there is a downfall coming of the world’s economies. These have nothing to do with your individual locations, but the downfall has started in the United States.

Your economies, just as your hearts, are intertwined. It is not possible to have a difficulty in one area without experiencing a similar difficulty throughout the rest of the world, so we are not going to limit this message to any one country or any one people. That is the base of the problem: your entire ideas of creating countries or even communities have been based on separation. Living in a field of duality has given you the illusion of separation. You thought that it was very important to preserve your heritage and to make sure it was never diluted, so you put up boundaries. This has happened over and over again throughout history. Yet we tell you that much of the difficulties that you will now experience is caused by that separation. Since we have already spoken of the United States, let us use that country as an example. Let us go back to this great nation and tell you what made it great.

What Made America Great

Consider the words of poet Emma Lazarus that are engraved on the Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free … I lift my lamp beside the golden door." Are the United States of America welcoming those in need today? No, because her government has stopped the flow, creating a separation that was not there before. The separation that was meant to protect you is instead killing you. It is not just in the United States, dear ones, but it is all over the world. We have told you this before by putting it in terms of Universal Energy. We mentioned that governments, businesses and collective organizations will eventually have people who do nothing more than compare the actions of that business to Universal Energy. If you are in accord with Universal Energy, you are blending; you are not separating. The universe abhors separation, and now that humanity is moving to the next level your tolerance levels are gone.

You are seeing the beginning of a very difficult process of re-setting the energy of an entire nation— in fact of the world. It will hit every single soul that lives on this planet. Now that we have given you the bad news let us tell you the rest of the story, for we do not say these things lightly. We told the Keeper about this a week ago so that we could have time to convince him to actually deliver this message, because he was in great resistance to delivering a negative message of this nature. However, we promised that above all we would show you how to change this scenario and claim your power as creators. Let us start by saying that you do not have to follow the path. You do not have to experience the negativity that is at hand, because each of you has choice.

Writing Checks That Can Not Be Cashed

Many of you have been waiting for your leaders to do something to correct the current economic situation. However, your leaders have just written a check that cannot be cashed. It is absolute insanity to expect to fix the problem with the exact same actions that originally created it. We ask you not to give your power to the leaders at all. The leaders of your countries, and even your organizations, will return to the more important things that they were meant to do. Leaders are not meant to make a country great, because only the country’s people can do that. Your leaders are meant to do the important things, such as collect the trash, make your highways safe, and co-ordinate things with all the other countries. That is what your leaders were meant to do, but they have been allowed to do so much more until now. You have constantly given your power to world leaders. They have gladly taken it and said, "Thank you." Ahh, but you have choice at hand now, do you not? Not only do you have choice in the United States of America, but you have choice all over the world. Let us give you suggestions of what to look for. No, we will not tell you who to vote for. Many of you have your pens out, we think that is hilarious!

Fear vs. Love

Let us speak to you about the decision process. First, understand that 97% of the leaders on this planet over the last 200 years have been elected out of fear. Are you tired of being afraid? We hope so. You have been playing the game of fear over and over again. Yes, it is a drama and humans love drama so you have chosen to go back and play the game over and over again. You have elected your officials and representatives out of fear, and that is where the challenge is. If instead you will elect your leaders out of hope, love, and alignment with your energy rather than by trying to measure experience or compare promises, you will not be acting out of fear. We tell you, dear ones, it is time for humans to take back their power. It is not a revolution, and it need not be in a negative way. Instead, it is a quiet, internal decision to hold one’s power. However, you are still in a field of polarity and have been living in a field of duality. You see things as up/down, right/wrong, good/bad, or love/fear—all the opposites. That is now changing. It is becoming a field of Triality, where you now have a new balance of the higher self so you no longer see light and dark separately. It is more like a triangle which is illuminating a circle. Differences can be viewed as part of each other, and with a new perception of the higher self you can begin to see the larger picture. The larger picture also includes power…individual power. From the very beginning of these messages we have told you the balance of power is responsibility. If you wish to increase your power in any area, figure out a way to increase your responsibility.

Power to the People!

We ask you to not give your power to your leaders ever again. You hold that power within your heart. You are responsible for your own well being, for your happiness, and for finding joy on this planet, because that is what you came to do. That is why you took physical form; that is what this game was all about. It is going through a re-set, but it does not have to be as difficult as you have outlined it to be. The re-set can be very short, simple and easy. Let us give you some specific examples so that you can see what it looks like from our perspective.

We have given you a negative message that the Keeper had preferred we not share. The fear is that as a result of hearing this you will go home, hoard your money, and stop spending. You will pull things up and protect yourself. We tell you, dear ones, that this is the perfect time to start a business. This is the time to make an investment or to buy something that you have been dreaming of for a long time. This is the time for you to take responsibility for yourself and your own flowing energy. If you wish to increase abundance, it begins at the front door, not the back door. You do not wait for the energy to come in. You are afraid of having nothing. Dear ones, you are about to experience that but you do not have to. We are not telling you this to cause fear, but to help you re-awaken your gifts of creation. We hope you take this and create the greatest dream you have. We would love nothing more than to come back into these rooms three months from now and say, "See, you were wrong!" That is the energy and the creative ability that you have. Find hope. Find love.

Unity vs. Separation

Make your decisions about unity instead of separation. In the beginning, this entire game started from what you know as the Big Bang. There are two scientific experiments on this planet now that have been in progress for many, many years. In fact, one of the experiments has already uncovered universal secrets and the scientists are not quite sure what they mean. It will not be long before you begin understanding more about this thing called the Big Bang and how the game was formed. If we simply give you the basis for it, you will understand where you are in the process right now.

From the instant of the Big Bang, everything expanded outward. Although your scientists still believe the universe is expanding, we told you some time ago that it has crossed dimensions and is now in the same movement coming back around, back together again. The out breath has begun; that which was separated to create the illusion of polarity on the gameboard is coming back together. That is the natural flow of energy in the universe. It is all about unity and finding the commonalities between each of you and honoring them. That is the first application you can use this for. Instead of focusing on the ways in which you are different from another person, country, culture or religion, you find the similarities that you share. Find the commonalities between all of you, and that will help to release this.

The Economic Re-Wire

If you look at the Universal Energy we explained as a bed sheet hanging on a line, when you poke your finger in it, it creates a bulge on the other side. That is cause and effect. It is very simple but the natural flow of the universe when you remove your finger is to pull it back together, or to come back to the neutral position. The universe is now shrinking, not expanding. As you put yourselves personally, collectively, corporately and governmentally in the flow of coming back together rather than separating, you will make it an easy shift. As long as you are separating, there will be challenges for now you are now in opposing Universal Energy.

Five years ago you could do this with no ill effects whatsoever, but now that the collective vibration has reached a level where the bullshit tolerance is gone. There is no more space for you to weave outside of those lines. As a result, you are starting to see the economic re-set which has been spoken of for many years. The re-set does not need to be a great drama. It can be a fairly easy transition if you will find the hope and love in your heart, and if you will find that part of responsibility that you are going to take for your own life in whatever fashion you can. There is a miracle waiting to happen, dear ones, but we cannot create it for you, because it is not our game. It is yours.

We are here to reflect your hearts; we are here only to give you another view. Please do not give us your power either, for that would be just as wrong as giving it to the political leaders who got you into this mess. We ask you to hold your own power, even taking these things we say and running them through your own filters. Keep only those pieces that truly resonate with your heart and release the rest as simply not for you at this moment. The pieces you release are neither right nor wrong, good nor bad, they simply are not for you at this moment. Release them without judgement.

The more you can put yourselves into unifying principles even with your governments, the faster you can complete this economic re-wire. We will give you a very specific example. We mentioned this at the United Nations in Vienna when it was happening. The organization of governments called the European Union unites instead of separates. It is the same energy that made the United States the great nation and the economic superpower that it is. We tell you this simply so that you can see the energies that are isolating themselves, and the energies that are blending themselves together. Find a way to do that first in your own heart and your own lives, then elect those people who you believe will do exactly that.

The other thing is that when you hear those fear-based messages—for you will hear many of them—understand that fear and pain are great motivators on planet Earth. The irony is that when you get Home, you will re-member that pain as a beautiful human experience and you will say, "Do you re-member when you hurt me so badly? That was so much fun." And yet, you do not need to go through what is ahead. It is not necessary. You are the creators. When you hold a pure thought in your head for seven seconds, it manifests. When you hold a collective thought together it manifests immensely, for it is not 1, 2, 3, 4 - it is exponential counting, so it goes 1, 10, 100, 1,000. It moves and amplifies in that fashion when you do things collectively. You are about to make several collective decisions in the United States of America. Do so for those people who you believe will be blending back together instead of separating, and please make your decisions out of love and knowledge, not out of fear. Do this and they will no longer have control of you. You will then create your own reality. Each and every one of you will do this, according to your wishes and dreams. That will make all planet Earth a great place to live again and will bring Heaven to Earth.

An Equal Distribution of Wealth?

Many of you believe that a market crash has to happen in order for a new economic system, one of fair and equal intent, that will distribute wealth equally all over the world. We tell you that this is not possible, dear ones, for wealth is a chosen attribute. Let us explain. There is a ladder we will simply call an economic ladder. Up here, you have wealthy people; down there, you have poor people. This is about money, dear ones, and it does not fit in any other place. You must understand our perception of money, for it is merely a reflection of a reflection. You treat it as an energy, but it is not. It is only a reflection of energy. Money is only a representation of exchange that you use to exchange energy. It has taken new proportions, for there are gaps and air bubbles. There are big balloons in your economic systems. Well, all the air is coming out of the balloon in one of those systems now. It is happening at great expense, but it does not need to happen for it is only perception of perception of perception. That is the economic structure on planet Earth at this time. Change your individual perceptions and you will start to change the collective perception. That can happen very quickly.

We find it interesting to watch your television. Some of your channels show only your financial news, because they are watching every second for an indicator to go this way so everybody can jump over here. Then they are waiting for an indicator to go that way, so that everybody can jump over there. It is perception of perception of perception. Pull yourself out of the game, take responsibility for yourself, and it will all change. That is what we came to tell you this day. We hope we give you hope and not fear, for it does not need to be negative. You can change all of it into the greatest structures around. It is not ever possible to get anything equally distributed on your planet, because individuals choose where they wish to be on the ladder. We tell you that one is not better than another for, there are lessons you can learn down here that you cannot learn up there. There are responsibilities up here that you may not be willing to take, so you may place yourself down there. There is no right or wrong, because all of it is a human experience that you decided to have. We just simply wish for you to find your joy and passion. You find that piece that resonates in your heart and you will create heaven right here. There will be no economic structures that distribute anything, for it will no longer be necessary to have those structures. That is when you become free of all of it.

Role Model: The ‘Government’ of Lemuria

Eventually you will return to the type of government that you had in the days of Lemuria, which was actually a form of non-government. During those great times, you were advanced souls. You did not have laws, but you had customs. If any individual decided not to follow the custom, they took full responsibility of whatever outcome it produced and they were grateful to do so. You were so advanced in those days you did not need the structures. That is what you are returning to, and that is why you are going through a re-set of energy right now.

New Energy Corporations

We tell you, dear ones, it is not the governments that have taken over your world. It is the corporations, but it is not out of fear. There is nothing to fear from a corporation; a corporation is only a collective of people. It is an economic base that has been formed for the sole purpose of bringing in more money. We will give you a suggestion about how you can change the face of the United States and the face of the planet in regard to that simple situation. Currently, you give the corporations on your planet more power than you do individuals. Slavery has been outlawed on Earth but yet corporations have been granted ownership over certain life forms. To be a corporation on this planet should be a privilege and not a right. The issuing government should deem that corporations put the good of humanity first before profit. Currently, if that were to happen in some of your large corporations, the stockholders would sue the corporations and win.

Currently your laws say that corporations must make decisions based solely on profit. Change the definition of a corporation and make it an honor to be one. Make it something that they must live up to, and if any decision they make is against the public good then they can be called on it. Do this one thing and you will change all control on this planet overnight. We tell you the war machine will stop at that moment, we promise you that.

Perhaps this may be the light in the darkness. If your governments are busy bailing out financial systems, they may not have enough money to engage in the business of war.

You have about had enough. We hope so. We hope humans have been pushed in a corner so much that they are now willing to come out creating. You have your chance right now. Change it. Shift it. Take responsibility. Know that we are right behind you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Dear ones, we love you more than you know. We are a part of you and you are a part of us. We are so honored to see you get to this stage, yet we can see the fear that may come on this planet as a result of that. We can see the cycles that start over and over again, doing tremendous damage and harm to something that you have put your hearts into and built for so long. Pull out. Change it. Start making all of your decisions based on hope and love, then laugh at the fear.

It is with the greatest of honor that we bring you this important message today. We hope the Keeper will forgive us for giving such a negative message, but it is truly a message of love and a message of hope for you are about to start a new game here on planet Earth. Enjoy the ride.

This month I received a copy of ‘The Bridge’ which I have published below, and in order to get an insight into where it had come from and to ask permission to reproduce it here, I visited The Intenders’ website and watched their movie. The Bridge ~ Step 112 ~ Mercy

Who among you would deny mercy unto yourself?

As many of you know, Lee Ching helped us create The Intenders. What you may not know is that he is the archetype of mercy, the male counterpart to Kuan Yin who is the archetype of compassion. We thought you'd like to hear this very special story about him.

This man was the commander-in-chief of vast armies in a time which has long been forgotten in our current reckoning of history. He was both respected and feared as one of the most powerful men in the realm. At the time our tale begins, two great civilizations known as Atlantis and Lemuria had been involved in a series of wars for centuries, and, despite all efforts to bring peace to the land, no one of integrity had stepped forward to speak out on behalf of the true good of the people. The world situation was at a stalemate; a cycle of decadence and darkness prevailed.

Envision, if you will, a setting late one autumn afternoon toward the end of a particularly bloody battle in a valley that was strewn with bodies of brave men and women. With no sign of either side looking to retreat, the carnage continued unabated. The commander of the Lemurian army had fought relentlessly all day alongside his fellow soldiers and his sword was covered with the blood and sinew of fallen enemies. Though weary and wounded, he battled on, willing to fight until the last man was left standing or he himself was killed.

At a certain moment, with the twilight fast approaching, he found himself in a furious struggle with a very strong, courageous opponent. After almost 20 minutes of toe-to-toe combat against this formidable warrior, the Lemurian commander swung his mighty sword at his rival and connected. The brave man fell on his back, his helmet and sword flew to the ground beside him. Just as the great commander readied to run his sword through the defenseless man's chest, he paused for an instant to look into the face of his enemy. The soldier was just a boy - no more than 17 or 18 years of age - whose body had matured rapidly considering its years. The young man's eyes were filled with a terror beyond imagination; he knew that he was about to die.

Suddenly, as often happens when one is pushed to the limits of strength and endurance, the great commander's perception shifted. With his sword held high in the air, he glanced out of the corner of his eye at the bloody battle that raged around him. Arms and legs flailed in a strange slow motion-like dance, nearby shouts and screams seemed to come from far off in the distance. His entire awareness changed as a new power rippled through his body. He felt expanded into something much greater than he was just moments before. In that same instant, his knowledge increased dramatically - the future and past revealed themselves in one momentous flash. He looked down at the boy laying at his feet and saw into the depths of his young opponent's soul. This boy didn't want to die. He longed to be safe and warm in the comforts of his own home with his loved ones and family. He dreamt of once again running through the fields with the beautiful fiancée he left behind when he went off to war.

The great commander then saw of a part of himself in the young man's eyes; he saw a part of himself in everything around him. A feeling of deep compassion, such as he had never known before, overcame him. He knew he could not move to kill the helpless boy because, in doing so, he would only be killing himself. He dropped his sword to the ground and walked away from the battle to the top of a nearby hill.

What happened next was told and retold, passed on from generation to generation for thousands of years. There, as darkness shrouded the land, he fell to his knees, vowing never to harm or kill again. . . and in that moment, he was enlightened. Immediately, the soldiers in the valley below stopped their fighting and looked to the glow on the hill. Ten thousand people witnessed the light as it became brighter and brighter and broke free from its connection with the Earth. The great commander slowly ascended to perhaps 300 feet above the hill and then gently floated to a point directly over the center of the battlefield. Some said that he hovered there for only a short time, while others reported that it seemed like hours. However long it was, all of those present were bathed and purified in the crystal bluewhite radiance that gently showered down on them from above. None who were there that evening would ever go forth to fight again. Mercy and a new respect for one's fellow man were reborn within the human experience.

In time, the hovering white light began to fade and an outline of the commander's body took shape again. He settled slowly to the Earth and beckoned the soldiers to step back and give him room. Directly, he approached the boy who had fallen defenseless beneath his sword earlier and held out his arms. The two embraced like long-lost brothers, and when they finally pulled apart, the great commander bid the boy to go home to his family and fiancée and live his life in peace.

As the story goes, all of the soldiers on both sides left their weapons laying on the ground that night and sat around campfires together in silence. The next morning they began their return home to their families, carrying with them the story of what had happened the day before. Word quickly spread far and wide of a new Savior who walked the land. The great commander had become a Christed Being, a warrior for the light, and, from that point on, everywhere he went people were transformed, as if by magic, into fulfilled, joyful human beings. The series of wars that had lasted for centuries came to a sudden halt. Atlantis and Lemuria flourished once again as they had before the senseless wars had started.

It would be another 13,000 years before mankind forgot about the power of mercy and the example that was set that night by the great commander. These two magnificent cultures and all of their wondrous architectural and scientific achievements would one day be washed beneath the ocean waves into the sea and lost forever. But that is not the end of our tale.

The great commander/Savior's teachings, after being forgotten for lifetimes upon lifetimes, are now returning to the people of the Earth. His messages are heard in quiet moments in the minds of those who call forth the return of mercy. More and more people each day are choosing to lay down their swords and set aside their control issues in favor of peace. More and more are urging their national leaders to stop bullying one another and take a stance for the highest interests of all mankind. We are beginning to understand that acts of compassion and mercy inherently vanquish fear and return us to safety and comfort. We are moving toward a better world.

Furthermore, it is now being heralded, in obscure writings here and there, that the great ascended commander himself will return one day in the near future to walk again among the people and show them the magnificent rewards that come to the merciful. Indeed, among the scribes who announce his return, there is one man who has faint memories - visions - of a lifetime long past when he lay, defeated and helpless, on his back with a great warrior standing over him, sword raised and ready to strike. And sometimes, in rare moments of even deeper contemplation, he remembers a pact made between his soul and the soul of the great commander. Their agreement was to come to Earth in times of unrelenting darkness and play out the roles of courageous rivals so that this message about the power of mercy could be given unto you.
